Reading = This week we are wrapping up our Questioning strategy practice. Please Check out our Padlet we used for our Text Feature Scavenger Hunt = http://padlet.com/cmmeyer/2aeygvkgr98 When we come back from break we will begin thinking about "Analyzing Text Structure" of the stories we read. We will begin with the text Thunder Cake and The Princess and the Pizza.
Writing = We are going to do some creative writing this week that deals with what we are thankful for. When we return from break on the 30th we will continue to work on our personal narrative piece. We will be peer revising and editing using our Chrome books.
Math = Chapter 6 over Division is going well. This week we are going to be making models while thinking about division and dividing with remainders. When we get back from break we will work with long division and the distributive property.
Spelling = There will be no new spelling words this week due to the short week. We will return to Spelling on the 30th.
Science = In the upcoming weeks we will be wrapping up our Science unit with a more hands on approach. We will work in teams to show what we have learned. I can't wait to see what they create.
